    Shared ownership is a form of collective asset purchase between a set number of individuals. David Lloyd Resorts use this principle to provide people with the opportunity to share in and enjoy property ownership that may previously have been unobtainable as a sole investor.

     

    How Shared Ownership Works?

     

    ·          Each property is divided into 13 share holdings

    ·          There are 3 price bands to chose from based on desired seasonality

    ·          The 13 owners hold a share of the property proportionate to the amount of equity invested

    ·          All owners share equal occupancy rights

    ·          2 weeks per annum reserved within the price band = 13 owners x 2 weeks = 26 weeks

    ·          2 ‘freedom’ weeks to be taken during any of the 26 weeks of year remaining open each year

    ·          The business plan is to sell the property after 10 years (providing the majority of owners agree)

    ·          The proceeds of the sale are returned to the owners proportionate to their share equity held

    ·          All owner shares are legally protected and their capital deposited in Escrow accounts
